Our grassroots team designed and produced a zine about Artisans Co-op for you to print at home and help spread the word. It goes over what the co-op is, some reasons why artisans might want to join, and how folks can learn more.
The zine and instructions can be found here!
The zine was designed to be printed and folded at home and to look good in black and white or full color. The entire zine is on a single page of printer paper and can be easily folded according to a simple set of instructions.
The zine is just one more way to spread the word! Print and distribute as many as you’d like. Hand them out at craft fairs, give them to friends, or ask to set up little displays around town. We also have flyers, business cards, and other ways to spread the word here!
What is a Zine?
A zine (short for magazine and pronounced like “zeen”) can be many things, but it is often a small booklet or online publication that portrays information in a creative way. Zines have a long history of being used in grassroots organizations and movements. Many artists and makers also use zines as an easy way to share their art and stories. Zines can use illustration, text, storytelling, and people power to get the word out about all sorts of ideas and projects!
