In this post, we’ll outline the what a Cooperative is, the differences between The Artisans Cooperative and other marketplaces, and our social impact on communities.

Points Tracker Tool for Member Activities

In this post, we’re sharing a new support tool for our members who are contributing patronage through points. Points can be earned in a variety of ways, although the most common is through Member Activities.

To the left, it says "A Day in the Life of the Coop" with "Blog post by Aggie" underneath and the Coop logo under that. To the right is a photo of a white desk with a jar of black pencils in it, a mug on a coaster, a keyboard, a notebook, headphones, and some leaves.

A Day in the Life of the Coop

A day in the life of Artisans Cooperative is bustling with work and fun! One of the strengths of our cooperative is that we are people powered. Dozens of people and hundreds of days come together to make this machine run. We wanted to follow a few Coop team members and map their days to gain a better understanding of how the Coop fits into their lives and how their work fits into the Coop!

On the right is an image of a piece of paper with three squares lined up vertically, with the top square having a red check mark. On the left it says "First Board Election Blog post by Artisans Cooperative" with the coops logo of a chicken below.

First Board Election

In January of 2024, Artisans Cooperative is holding our first Board of Directors election. This is a monumental occasion and a tremendous step forward for the ONLY member-owned marketplace for buying handmade goods.
